Ron Matson, dean of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Mar 11, 2015 鈥 By WSU News Services 鈥 When Jeff Blackman heard the news that Ron Matson recently was named dean of the 成人头条 Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences after serving as interim dean for two years, he decided the time was right to pay tribute to Matson in a special way.

Ronald Matson, dean of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, lectures in his Men and Masculinity class.  Matson has taught the class at WSU for 35 years, and edited the textbook used in the class.

Feb 28, 2015 鈥 By WSU News Services 鈥 The 成人头条 State men's basketball team defeated UNI 74-60 to claim the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season championship.

Ten high school seniors were named finalists for the 2015 Harry Gore Memorial Scholarship at 成人头条 State.

Feb 26, 2015 鈥 By WSU News Services 鈥 High school students Ryan Lee from 成人头条 and Amy Lightfoot from Colorado Springs have won 成人头条's Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. They will receive $13,000 a year for four years to attend 成人头条 State, a total of $52,000 each.

Sarah Sell, Director of Veteran Student Services at 成人头条 State, accepts a donation of military flags to decorate WSU's Military and Veteran Student Center. The center, established in 2013, is one of the initiatives that helps makes WSU a military-friendly campus.
