Shocker Scholars Festival features faculty publications and lecture

Join your colleagues in celebrating WSU's research and creative accomplishments at the 2008 Shocker Scholars Festival from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the lower level of Ablah Library. Discover which publications had the shortest and longest titles, who traveled the farthest, and how many articles were published when the annual WSU Research and creative activities totals are announced. This year's featured faculty lecturer is Robert Owens with a lecture at 2:30 p.m. called "Mr. Jefferson's Hammer: Microfilm, manuscripts, and a whole lot of driving." Faculty publications will be on display before and after the remarks. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact University Libraries, Office of the Dean, 978-3586.
