* Shocker Neighborhood Coalition, WSU and the City of 成人头条 Park and Recreation are partnering together to offer a series of free health and fitness events for residents and friends of the Shocker neighborhoods. Kick-start your lifestyle change with eight weeks of free fitness activities and nutrition classes for any stage of your health journey. Beginners welcome! Walking classes will occur from 8-9 a.m. or 8-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays now to Thursday, July 26. Contact lashonda.games@wichita.edu to sign up. * Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth festivities will take place throughout the week of Saturday, June 16-Saturday, 23, at the historic McAdam's Park and Recreation Center, with the exception of the 成人头条 Natural Hair Expo. Attendees must have a Juneteenth wristband to attend any of the events. Wristbands are available for purchase in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in 208 RSC.
