Black & Yellow Days - Oct. 8 and Nov. 2
These programs are designed for high school juniors, seniors and transfer students to get a feel for what college life is like as a Shocker. Attendees will browse tables at a Shocker Experience Fair, attend academic and student life sessions, go on campus tours and housing tours, eat lunch in Shocker Hall, and more.
Diversity Leadership Symposium - Oct. 25
Students from diverse backgrounds will spend a day getting a glimpse into the life of a Shocker. They will learn about leadership opportunities, academic resources, and hear from current WSU students.
Shocker Honors Scholar Receptions - Nov. 12 and 13
High school juniors in the top 10 percent of their class will be honored at these receptions. Students will be recognized for their accomplishments and will have the opportunity to speak with faculty, staff and current students from the academic college they are interested in.
Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI) - Nov. 17
Through DSI, hundreds of high school seniors will compete for the coveted $64,000 Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. We will once again host two competitions on Nov. 17 with one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
