Reminders, deadlines and events

* WSU staff -- celebrate the first day of summer by advancing your education. Join us from 2:30-4 p.m. today (Thursday, June 21) in 142 RSC. Learn about and apply for any of the education benefits available to WSU employees (badges, certificates, degrees and tuition assistance).

* In order for the WSU Foundation to meet your deadline of making the deposit to reimburse WSU accounts on Monday June 25, requisitions are due at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 20. These checks will be released on Friday, June 22. Any check needs after June 22 are due at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, for the check run Thursday, June 28. The WSU Foundation does not encumber funds, and we cannot write any checks for fiscal year 2018 after Friday June 29, 2018. * The WSU Women's Association Fundraiser for Dames Scholarship event will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Marcus Welcome Center. The event includes a silent auction, live band, hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. Tickets are $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door or from any WSU Women's Association member. If you cannot attend, donations are appreciated. Please make checks to WSU Dames Scholarship Fund, 1845 Fairmount, Campus Box 117, 成人头条, KS 67260-0117. Donations are 100 percent tax deductible.

* During the week of Sept. 24, 2018, the State Employee Health Plan will post all open enrollment materials for Plan Year 2019 on its website at https://wsu.news/sehp2019enroll. Members who would like to receive printed materials can go to https://wsu.news/printsehp and complete the required fields by Friday, July 20, to be added to the mailing list.

* Changes are underway that will affect motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic by the time fall semester classes begin at 成人头条 State. Some street names are changing, and there will be new street signs and more crosswalks. For more information, go to https://wsu.news/summer2018imp

* The University is offering a scholarship for employees who are interested in taking a badge course as a nondegree bound student. To receive the scholarship, employees must submit a completed Badge Interest Form at https://wsu.news/badgeintform, and be admitted and enrolled by Sept. 14, 2018. Please note application fees and badge tuition will appear on your record until the scholarship is processed and credited to your student account.
