* The WSU Foundation invites you to a retirement reception for Skip Swearingen from 3-4:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 27) in Woodman Alumni Center, Arst multipurpose room. Remarks will be at 3:45 p.m. Swearingen is retiring from the WSU Foundation after 22 years.

* The University Bookstore will be closed for year-end inventory starting at noon today (Wednesday, June 27) through 5 p.m. Friday, June 29. The bookstore will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30. They will be unable to process web orders during this closure also.

* 成人头条 State's Summer Choir will present "An Evening with Mark Hayes" at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, June 28) at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 N Webb Rd, 成人头条, KS. The 成人头条 State Summer Choir and Eastminster Chancel Choir are excited to welcome Kansas City native and award-winning concert pianist, composer, arranger and conductor Mark Hayes. * The 2018 WSU Summer Symphony Orchestra will collaborate with John Harrison, concertmaster of the 成人头条 Symphony Orchestra, on two miniature masterpieces for violin and orchestra. The summer orchestra consists of seasoned amateurs, area educators, university performers and advanced high school musicians. Join us at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, June 28) in Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at https://wsu.news/faboxoffice

* The Public Policy and Management Center (PPMC) has gathered community input for Project 成人头条 and developed the community survey that is out now. * KMUW is offering free year-at-a-glance calendar stickers for the 2018-19 academic year to WSU staff and faculty. To request a calendar sticker for yourself or several to share with your department, please call 978-6789 or send an email to info@kmuw.org and include the amount of calendars you'd like, along with your campus box number. The stickers will be sent by the end of June.
