Shiftspace will be open Friday, June 29

Shiftspace will be open from 6-10 p.m. this Final Friday, June 29, for the opening reception of "From the Terrible." The exhibition is a solo show of work by Alex Moore, who graduated summa cum laude in spring 2018, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio arts, painting emphasis. The culmination of more than a year of work, "From the Terrible" explores the concept of the sublime through a series of large-scale, mixed-media landscapes.

Shiftspace is a gallery operated by the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries located in the Commerce Street Arts District, 419 S. Commerce St. Suite 120. The last Friday of every month, thousands of art lovers stop by Shiftspace and the other galleries and businesses located on Commerce.
