Reminders, deadlines and events

* A water service shutdown will affect Ahlberg Hall this afternoon (Friday, June 29) starting at noon. Restrooms, water fountains, kitchenette and service sinks will be out of service this afternoon in Ahlberg.

* The University Bookstore is closed for year-end inventory today (Friday, June 29) through 5 p.m. They are unable to process web orders during this closure also. The bookstore will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30.

* Space is available in an Employment Relationship Training class from 3-4:30 p.m. today (Friday, June 29) in 264 RSC. To register for training, go to myTraining through myWSU. This course is provided for leaders who supervise employees (UP, USS, students), and will focus on the overall employment relationship. If you have questions, contact mytraining@wichita.edu.

* Shiftspace will be open from 6-10 p.m. today (this Final Friday, June 29) for the opening reception of "From the Terrible." Shiftspace is a gallery operated by the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries located in the Commerce Street Arts District, 419 S. Commerce St. Suite 120.

* Christine Taylor, Title IX coordinator for Marquette University, has been named the director of the newly created Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) at 成人头条, effective Aug. 13. For more information, go to https://wsu.news/ctaylor

* KMUW is offering free year-at-a-glance calendar stickers for the 2018-19 academic year to WSU staff and faculty. To request a calendar sticker for yourself or several to share with your department, please call 978-6789 or send an email to info@kmuw.org and include the amount of calendars you'd like, along with your campus box number. The stickers will be sent by the end of June.
