Research Channel programming on WSU-TV 13

In the program "Child Welfare and Well Being," co-authors of the new book "Child Protection: Using Research to Improve Policy and Practice" talk about research in the first nationally representative data sample of children in the child welfare system. Results indicate the most effective ways to help both children and parents in the system.

In another program, "People -- The Ultimate Challenge for Developing Cyberinfrastructure," Kerstinn Lehnert provides insights into cyberinfrastructure projects in geochemistry. She describes efforts related to successfully building new communities of users and information scientists and what must be done in order to use cyberinfrastructure effectively in geochemistry. The program also features a discussion of Johns Hopkins University's research in wind turbine technology.
