The Shocker Bowling Program invites faculty and staff to recognize WSU bowling teams that recently became the 2008 Intercollegiate Men's Bowling Champions and the 2008 Intercollegiate Women's Runners-Up. The bowlers will be honored at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the start of the Shocker Pride Picnic, located in the quad area outside the Rhatigan Student Center. Team members will be awarded certificates for their outstanding achievement from President Don Beggs and Ron Kopita, vice president for Campus Life and University Relations. Special guests include KSN sports anchor Jim Kobbe, who will serve as master of ceremonies.
