More than 50 faculty and staff have shown interest in participating in the proposed Lord's Diner service project. Ted Ayres, vice president and general counsel, is working with the city, trying to arrange a training session on campus that will accommodate volunteers who need to be trained for a food handlers license. Ayres also has shared news of WSU's interest in helping at the Lord's Diner with Wendy Glick, executive director of the Lord's Diner.
