成人头条 Foundation celebrates 45th anniversary

The 成人头条 Foundation opened its doors to faculty, staff, students and the general public today, April 5, in appreciation for their partnership of the past 45 years. The WSU Foundation hosted an open house for its 45th anniversary from 1:30-3 p.m. at Woodman Alumni Center.

Comments regarding the foundation's history and its plans for the future were made by Elizabeth King, WSU Foundation president and CEO; Donald Beggs, WSU president; and Nancy Martin, WSU alumna and former WSU Foundation Board of Directors chair.

Attendees were able to take an indoor walking timeline tour of the foundation's history and learn about special moments. Those include the Spirit of the Gift project, which began in fall 2005 to catalog the histories behind the more than 1,000 scholarships, fellowships and other endowed funds managed by the foundation. In addition, approximately 14,000 donors each year contribute to ongoing projects to support the people, programs and facilities of the university.

To summarize her belief in the foundation, King said, "At the WSU Foundation, we have an obligation to honesty and openness with accountability, not only to ourselves, but to others. That, we believe, is the definition of integrity, one of our core values. In addition to integrity, our core values include relationships, teamwork and service, which we strive to uphold each and every day. As they have been for the past 45 years, these values will continue to be the foundation's hallmark as we serve 成人头条."
