Festive April ahead for College of Fine Arts

Two festivals, one for dance and one for jazz, offer first-class educational and performance opportunities this April in the College of Fine Arts at 成人头条.

WSU鈥檚 dance department will host the regional American College Dance Festival, which will bring in dancers from five states for rehearsals and four nights of performance.

The 成人头条 Jazz Festival is back, with events at Doc Howard鈥檚 Lounge in Old Town, the Fisch Haus Gallery on Commerce Street and on the WSU campus. The Tia Fuller Quartet, Gretchen Parlato and Lionel Loueke are among the line-up of nationally and internationally known jazz stars.

Other offerings include the St. Petersburg String Quartet with Julie Bees, the WSU Symphony with Philip Black, the Fisch Haus Anniversary Show at the Ulrich Museum of Art and 鈥淎ssassins,鈥 an Opera and Musical Theatre event.
