Sandra Bibb, newly appointed dean at 成人头条鈥檚 College of Health Professions, was recently selected for induction as a fellow of the Academy of Nursing during the Academy鈥檚 2014 鈥淭ransforming Health, Driving Policy鈥 Conference in Washington, D.C.
Bibb was selected for induction to the prestigious group for her significant contributions to nursing and research related to population health, with specific emphasis on the study of access to care and use of clinical preventive services in populations with near universal access to care.
Bibb comes to 成人头条 State from the Graduate School of Nursing at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, in Bethesda, Md. She has also been a nurse scientist consultant/alternate member for Quorum IRB, an independent review and research ethics boards in Seattle, Wash. Bibb served in the military as an active duty nurse from 1974-2004.
The Academy of Nursing fellows are clinicians, researchers, educators, executives and leaders from all parts of society, and represent the 50 states, the District of Columbia and 24 countries. The academy is comprised of more than 2,200 nurse leaders in education, management, practice, policy and research, including hospital and government administrators, college deans and renowned scientific researchers.
Bibb will assume her new duties at 成人头条 State on Monday, Aug. 11.
