成人头条 State enrolls 15,003 students; sets an all-time credit hour record

Enrollment at 成人头条 for fall 2014 is 15,003 students, an increase of 453 students or 3.1 percent compared to fall 2013, according to the official enrollment report given to the Kansas Board of Regents following the 20th day of classes.

The enrollment increase was the highest since 2002.

Total student credit hours are 165,132 for fall 2014, an increase of 1.7 percent compared to fall 2013, and the highest number of credit hours in 成人头条 State鈥檚 history.

In addition, 73 percent of degree-bound undergraduate and graduate students are enrolled full time, the highest percentage in 成人头条 State鈥檚 history.

成人头条 State鈥檚 enhanced efforts to recruit specific student populations was successful. The university had an increase of 18 percent (203 students) among high school seniors who graduated and enrolled for the first time this fall semester.

In addition, the university also had a 6 percent increase (54 students) in transfer students and 9.4 percent increase (261 students) in graduate students.

The number of new undergraduate domestic minority students at 成人头条 State (Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American/Alaskan native, Hawaiian/PI), has increased by 24 percent, or 146 students, compared to fall 2013.
