Anticipation is growing for communication students as 成人头条鈥檚 Elliott School of Communication (ESC) gears up for Communication Week, Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 15-18. This year the school will also celebrate its 25th anniversary during the annual event.
Comm Week takes place immediately after fall break, and hosts a variety of activities for communication students to grow their skills, knowledge and opportunities in multiple communication fields.
"Comm Week focuses on two of the Elliott School鈥檚 greatest assets 鈥 the practical, experience-based learning opportunities that set students apart in the marketplace, and our outstanding people and relationships,鈥 said ESC director Matthew Cecil. 鈥淵ou can connect with peers and alumni, learn more about the history of the Elliott School and have some fun.鈥
Featured activities this year include creative contests and networking opportunities, a birthday party, alumni socials, philanthropic events and a question-and-answer session with Shocker basketball coach Gregg Marshall and WSU communication alum Gary Bender, a national sports broadcaster and ESC guest lecturer.
