MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski will co-host their daily "Morning Joe" program live from the campus of 成人头条 from 5-8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.
After scouting several 成人头条 locations, MSNBC officials selected the dining area of WSU鈥檚 Shocker Hall dormitory as the site for the nationally televised broadcast. Students and WSU community are invited to be part of the live audience for the program. Later this week, WSU will be releasing details of contests and prizes for students and student organizations attending the broadcast.
The event will follow Scarborough and Brzezinski鈥檚 participation in the 成人头条 Metro Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting program on the evening of Monday, Nov. 2. Angie Elliott, director of business services for the chamber, said WSU officials have been helpful to the MSNBC crew and that the university鈥檚 experience hosting other nationally televised events makes it a valuable partner to the 鈥淢orning Joe鈥 program.
鈥淢SNBC producers were familiar with all the impressive things happening at WSU,鈥 Elliott said. 鈥淭hey were interested in touring some of the new facilities and thought the vibrancy of the campus would bring the right energy to their programming.鈥
WSU, Visit 成人头条 and the Greater 成人头条 Partnership are community partners for the broadcast.
