Coleman-Martins named executive director of university marketing at 成人头条 State

Shelly Coleman-Martins will become executive director of university marketing in Strategic Communications at 成人头条, effective Feb. 1.

She will serve as chief operating officer of the university's marketing and communications team, with responsibilities including the university's branding, marketing and communications staff and activities.

She will report to Lou Heldman, vice president of Strategic Communications, who announced her appointment.

鈥淪helly Coleman-Martins is known as an excellent strategic thinker who is good at listening to consumers, building effective teams and serving internal clients,鈥 said Heldman. 鈥淪he will play a key role in shaping and communicating the university鈥檚 highest priorities, including enrollment growth and the transformation to an innovation university. Her background in marketing, communications, research and data analysis will serve the university well.鈥

Coleman-Martins is the international marketing manager-agriculture at Koch Agronomic Services. Her role is to promote five brands across multiple countries and languages, working with a network of global marketing agencies.

In 2012-13, during the Rhatigan Renewal, she served as director of marketing for the Rhatigan Student Center and was responsible for driving campus use of the facilities during the period of extensive disruption caused by construction.

Prior to that, she served as manager, then director of creative services for Coleman Co. before its headquarters moved from 成人头条 to Denver. Her duties there included supervising a staff of 13, managing a $1 million marketing budget and developing marketing strategies and programs to support Coleman and its brands.

Coleman-Martins earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Newman University and a Master in Business Administration from Baker University.
