The 成人头条 State Shuttle System has added two hop-on, hop-off Quick Stops to its routes for the 2016-17 school year.

To help students, faculty and staff take advantage of WSU鈥檚 new Food Truck Plaza, a Quick Stop has been added just north of the National Institute for Aviation Research on both the Metroplex and Campus routes.

To aid the large number of WSU students who live in Tall Oaks Apartments and the surrounding neighborhood, the Metroplex Route will now make an outbound-only Quick Stop on Oliver right in front of the complex.

Unlike normal WSU Shuttle System stops, shuttles will not wait at Quick Stops for a full minute before proceeding. Shuttles will only stop long enough to unload passengers and load those waiting at the stop.

The shuttle system, now in its third year of service, will continue to offer students, faculty, staff and visitors a free park-and-ride option from the Hughes Metropolitan Complex at 29th and Oliver. The park-and-ride lot at 21st and Oliver has been discontinued.

Additional changes include:

  • The start time for shuttle service each day is now 7:30 a.m., 30 minutes later than last year.
  • Because of budget constraints, the frequency of shuttles on the Metroplex Route will change throughout the day. Four buses will run from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; three buses will run from 6-8 p.m.; two buses will run from 8-9 p.m.; and one bus will run from 9-10 p.m. Consult the WSU Shuttle Tracker app for real-time bus locations.
  • The Campus Route will have two buses in service at all times.
