WSU ranks No. 16 in Safest Large Colleges and Universities list

成人头条 has been ranked No. 16 in the top 50 Safest Large Colleges and Universities list.

The list, published by College Choice, includes campuses all over the country. 成人头条 State is the highest-ranked Kansas Board of Regents institution on the list.

WSU earned a safety score of 87.98 percent. Data measured at each school were general safety, anti-discrimination, women鈥檚 safety, party culture and fire safety.

Factors highlighted in the report include WSU鈥檚 close relationship with local police and fire crews, the university鈥檚 own campus-based police department and one of the highest numbers of emergency call boxes, with 20 on the main campus.

鈥淚 think it鈥檚 great that we鈥檙e being recognized,鈥� says WSU Police Chief Sara Morris. 鈥淲e are a safe campus, and I wouldn鈥檛 hesitate to tell that to anybody.鈥�
