Aspen Santa Fe Ballet a coup for WSU arts

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, in 成人头条 Feb. 23, will perform its signature piece 芒鈧揘oir Blanc,芒鈧� an illusory and poetic piece as dancers appear to flow in and out of each other in changing shapes and images.

WSU dance, Ballet 成人头条 bringing Aspen Santa Fe Ballet to town

The Aspen Santa Fe Ballet will leap to life in 成人头条 as part of the College of Fine Arts Connoisseur Series at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, in the Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center at 225 W. Douglas in downtown 成人头条. Tickets are $35, $25, $15 through 成人头条 TIX, (316) 219-4TIX.

鈥淎spen Santa Fe is a repertory company, numerous choreographers, all contemporary work, very exciting,鈥� said Nick Johnson, director of dance at WSU. 鈥淭outed as the 'ballet company of the future,鈥� I think its performance will be exceptionally exciting and absolutely invaluable to the dancers who are training to be in professional companies. They will learn by osmosis.鈥�

The contemporary dance company鈥檚 tour to 成人头条 is also being sponsored by Ballet 成人头条, a strong community partner for WSU dance and its college.
