The College of Fine Arts at 成人头条 has excellent offerings for audiences this March.
The School of Music starts the month off with a Benefit for Haiti concert by the WSU Percussion Ensemble and Steel Band.
WSU鈥檚 Opera and Musical Theatre will present two one-act operas in one stellar evening with Ravel鈥檚 鈥淟'Enfant et les Sortileges鈥 (鈥淭he Enchanted Child鈥) and Hindemith's 鈥淗in und Zuruck鈥 (鈥淭here and Back鈥).
March also features Andrea Banke and Deborah Baxter in faculty artist recitals, the Madrigal Invitational, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the jazz bands, two Wednesdays in Wiedemann concerts by Lynne Davis and an organ series recital by guest Ludger Lohmann.
WSU Dance closes out the month with four nights of 鈥淭he Wiyos of Oz,鈥 a multidisciplinary performance combining film and dance on stage with the live music of the Wiyos in an original production and a most unusual adaptation of the classic 鈥淲izard of Oz鈥 story.
