Twenty-three Kansas organizations have been awarded nearly $215,000 in grant funding and organizational capacity building through the Compassion Kansas initiative, a project of the 成人头条 Center for Community Support & Research.
Chosen from 89 applicants from 27 counties, the following awardees will receive assistance from Compassion Kansas' sixth round of funding and organizational capacity building:

Funded by the federal Compassion Capital Fund, Compassion Kansas provides capacity building support for qualifying faith-based and community organizations throughout Kansas.
Compassion Kansas awards include grant funding and technical assistance opportunities on various organizational capacities, including strategic planing, facilitation, leadership skills, collaboration, service expansion, communication, evaluation research and efficiency improvement.
"Compassion Kansas builds on CCSR's 20-plus years of working with Kansas communities, nonprofits and coalitions," said Scott Wituk, director of CCSR. "We are excited to be working with another great group of organizations who are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Kansans. Capacity building provided through Compassion Kansas will help these organizations reach their goals more effectively and efficiently."
