WSU Opera Theater and WSU Symphony Orchestra to perform 'L 'Elisir d'Amore'

The 成人头条 Opera Theater and WSU Symphony Orchestra will perform 鈥淟 鈥楨lisir d鈥橝more鈥 at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and 11, in Miller Concert Hall at Duerksen Fine Arts Center.

鈥淟 鈥楨lisir d鈥橝more鈥 combines romance and comedy with some of the most loved arias and ensembles in opera history. Alan Held, American bass-baritone, associate professor of voice and director of opera, will direct the performance. He is recognized internationally as one of the leading singing actors today.

Mark Laycock, professor of music, will conduct the WSU Symphony Orchestra. He holds the Ann Walenta Faculty of Distinction Endowed Professorship and has been recognized with the WSU Excellence in Creative Activity Award and the College of Fine Arts Excellence in Teaching Award.

The performance is suitable for all ages. Tickets are $10 for children and students and $20 for adults, and are available at . WSU students get in free with student ID.
