Kansas BEST teams dominate regional robotics competition

Teams representing Kansas BEST once again dominated the regional competition at Frontier Trails BEST competition at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Dec 5-6.

ͷ Home School won first in the BEST Award and Game competition. The BEST Award is based on a project notebook, oral presentation, table display, interviews and overall spirit and sportsmanship. ͷ Home School also won the BEST Display and BEST Spirit Awards and igus Top Gun Award.

Circle High School won second in the BEST Award. Circle also won the BEST Notebook and BEST Presentation Awards.

Ambassadors for Christ Academy finished third in the Game competition, and Andale High School finished fourth.

Ambassadors for Christ Academy received the Most Robust Award, and ͷ Home School was second.

First place for Most Elegant Award went to ͷ Home School, and Andale High School was second.

The Kansas representatives qualified for the regional competition by winning the Kansas BEST competition at ͷ Nov. 1. The WSU College of Engineering Dean’s Circle, a community advisory board, coordinates the Kansas BEST event.
