The center previously was the responsibility of the department of psychology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

With the change, David McDonald, associate provost for research at WSU, has assumed administrative responsibility for the center.

"We believe that this is a good time to reorient the center to bring its operations in line with our other research centers," said Miller. "We appreciate the efforts of Dr. (Greg) Meissen in creating and building the center."

Meissen, the former director of the center, will resume his teaching and research duties in the department of psychology.
