Apr 20, 2012 — By WSU News Services — Lynne Davis, who holds the Ann and Dennis Ross Faculty of Distinction Endowed Professorship of Organ at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ, has been awarded one of France’s most distinguished titles, that of "Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres" (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) by the French Minister of Culture and Communications, Frederic Mitterand.

Apr 19, 2012 — By WSU News Services — The ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Presidential Search Committee announced five individuals have been selected as presidential finalists for ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ State and will visit the WSU campus in the next two weeks. During the visit, candidates will tour the campus and interact with various WSU constituent groups. A portion of each visit will be open to the public.

In his time as executive director of WSU's Office for Faculty Development and Student Success, Bill Vanderburgh has been able to make a real difference for students and the university as a whole.

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ professor Ron Matson has been named interim dean of WSU's Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Mar 28, 2012 — By WSU News Services — Interim Provost Keith Pickus has selected Ron Matson to be interim dean of the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Matson, longtime chair of the Department of Sociology, will replace Dean Bill Bischoff when Bischoff steps down at the end of the current academic year.

Camille Childers, an RN with more than 25 years of health care experience, is the new director of Student Health Services at WSU.
