Jan 14, 2016 — By Lainie Rusco — Linda Starkey, chairwoman of the School of Performing Arts at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ, has been awarded the Region V Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Gold Medallion. It is the organization's most prestigious award and considered one of the great honors in theater education.

Preethika Kumar teaches electrical engineering at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ State. She recently won a national teaching award for her dedication and creativity in the classroom.

Jul 7, 2015 — By Lainie Rusco — Two ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ professors have discovered that one of North America's most common migratory birds -- the Dark-eyed Junco -- carries on its feathers a remarkable diversity of plant bacteria, the greatest ever found on wild birds. Their research focuses on finding out if the bacteria are harmful or helpful to plant life.
