Nov 30, 2017 — By Lainie Mazzullo — As part of ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ's ongoing commitment to campus safety, the university launced Rave Guardian, a free mobile app for Android and Apple smartphones that turns any smartphone into a personal safety device.

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ will honor its Paralympic athletes at an event at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at WSU's Koch Arena atrium.

Sep 28, 2016 — By WSU News Services — The ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ State Alumni Association will host two events featuring alumnus Dean Hargrove, 1996 WSU President's Medal recipient and producer of hundreds of television programs around the world.

The 31 ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ State football players, staff and boosters killed in a 1970 plane crash will be honored on campus and at the University of Arkansas, site of the first game WSU played after the crash.

Sep 29, 2016 — By WSU News Services — The annual ceremony of remembrance for those who died in the 1970 ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ plane crash will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at WSU's Memorial '70. Members of the WSU community will take part in a reunion Saturday, Oct. 1, at the University of Arkansas-Alcorn State football game to honor the victims. Arkansas played the first game against WSU after the crash.

³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ enrolled 3,736 new students -- a record for new freshmen at WSU.

Sep 26, 2016 — By WSU News Services — ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ State enrolled 3,736 new students, a 7.6 percent increase over new students in fall 2015. Fall 2016 represents the largest class of new freshmen (1,476) in ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ State history, including the largest number of new full-time freshmen (1,420).

Participants of the Intensive Aphasia Program learned new strategies to cope with aphasia and improve overall communication.

The convenience store, located inside an old bus at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex shuttle stop, has coffee, food, donuts, drinks and other snacks.
