Jun 3, 2016 — By WSU News Services — Spirit AeroSystems has announced the inaugural class of Spirit Scholars, recipients of more than $570,000 of scholarship support. Included are 12 students named as Spirit Scholars who will now attend ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ.

WSU has started GoBabyGo! - modeled after a similar University of Delaware program - that modifies toys for children with disabilities. WSU's first project was a collaboration between engineering, physical therapy and Rainbows United.

Shelby Reynolds, a senior graduating with a degree in journalism, received the Overall Outstanding Senior award from the Elliott School of Communication.

As the Overall Outstanding Senior from ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ's Elliott School of Communication, Reynolds accepted a coveted position as a multimedia features reporter for the Naples Daily News in Naples, Florida, which she began immediately following graduation.
