The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 is pleased to announce that Michael Monteferrante has been named to its Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board. Monteferrante has served as president and CEO of Envision since 2013. Prior to this role, he was the CEO of leading organizations across a variety of industries, including transportation, technology, engineering, commercial real estate, construction, and food.

Envision, one of the nation鈥檚 largest organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, is led by Monteferrante. The organization provides employment and opportunities through outreach, rehabilitation, education, research, and community programs. With over 500 employees, 92% of Envision鈥檚 direct labor workforce is made up of individuals who are blind or visually impaired, reflecting the organization鈥檚 commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for its community.
Monteferrante has also chaired and served on numerous boards, including the 成人头条 Regional Chamber of Commerce, National Industries for the Blind, the National Association for the Employment of People Who Are Blind, Visit 成人头条 Convention and Visitors Bureau, Future Food Brands, Vintage Bank, Kansas Red Cross, Kansas Humane Society, and the Park City Convention and Tourism.
He holds a BBA in Business Management from Boise State University, where he was named a Distinguished Alumnus in 2014. Also, he has been recognized as 成人头条 Executive of the Year and Innovator of the Year.
The Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board, comprised of leading industry executives and business leaders from around the world, works to advance the mission and strategic priorities of the Barton School, contributing to its goal of becoming one of the best business schools globally.
