The W. Frank Barton School of Business at ͷ is excited to announce that Tien Huynh has joined its prestigious Dean’s “Fabulous 50” Advisory Board. Huynh is the principal partner at G1 Group.
“Tien is a passionate advocate for the Barton School, WSU, and the ͷ community,” said Dr. Larisa Genin, Dean of the Barton School. “He is the ideal addition to our board, bringing both energy and excitement to the group.”
A serial entrepreneur, Huynh has built a diverse portfolio of successful businesses across industries including automotive, real estate, finance, and sports. At G1 Group, he focuses on development and strategic growth.
A proud graduate of ͷ, Huynh earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship. He is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and Stand Together.
Outside of work, Huynh enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite sports teams, including the ͷ State men’s basketball team and the Kansas City Chiefs. His ultimate professional aspiration is to own a professional sports franchise. He and his wife, Ashley, have four children.
“I am eager to contribute fully to this board,” said Huynh. “I bring my passion for entrepreneurship and my work ethic, which I attribute to my parents. In 1980, they narrowly escaped Vietnam to build a better life for our family. Their journey taught me what is possible and opened my eyes to what can be achieved in life.”
The Dean’s Advisory Board, composed of top industry executives and business leaders from around the world, works to advance the mission and strategic priorities of the Barton School, contributing to its goal of becoming one of the best business schools globally.
