Denise Sherman Named Director of the Center for Management Development and Executive Education

The Center for Management Development and Executive Education at the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 has announced Denise Sherman as its new director. For the last six years, Sherman has served as the executive director at the Kansas African American Museum.

鈥淒enise has been a pillar of professionalism, an advocate of cultural arts and a leader of community building, education, development and strategy,鈥 said Dr. Larisa Genin, Dean of the Barton School. 鈥淪he is the ideal person to amplify and innovate the work of CMD.鈥

In her career, Sherman has focused on developing talent into dedicated leaders, realigning programs, making organizations more efficient and engaging stakeholders. Prior to her role as the executive director at TKAAM, Sherman served as the director of Organizational Partnerships and director at the Center for Corporate Learning for Southwestern College. She also worked as the director of Workforce and Employer Services and Instructional Services at 成人头条 Area Technical College, now WSU Tech. She has three master鈥檚 degrees in science organizational development (from Friends University), business administration and business management (from Webster University). Sherman received her bachelor's degree in business administration from 成人头条.

I look forward to helping the Center for Management Development and Executive Education grow and thrive in the years to come.鈥
