Yvette Connor, CohnReznick Partner, Joins Barton School Dean’s Advisory Board

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at ͷ is pleased to announce that Yvette Connor has joined its Dean’s “Fabulous 50” Advisory Board. Connor is a principal and risk advisory practice leader at CohnReznick, a global advisory, assurance, and tax firm with 4,300 team members.

“At CohnReznick, I help clients navigate uncertainties to make proactive, informed decisions,” said Connor. “Many college students face similar uncertainties as they enter the workforce, and I hope my work, along with the incredible team on this board, can help prepare Barton School students to confidently face the unknown.”

In her role at CohnReznick, Connor provides strategic, enterprise, and operational advisory services to both commercial and public sector organizations as they mature their risk management programs. She is a recognized leader in enterprise governance, risk, and compliance, known for helping large organizations implement value-based initiatives to achieve key performance indicators and optimize risk management frameworks. With more than 25 years of experience in domestic and international risk management, Connor is an expert in driving organizational success through improved risk insights.

Connor’s career highlights include building and implementing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Compliance frameworks at Fortune 500 companies and R1 research institutions. She has also led high-impact projects focused on Credit, Liquidity, Operational, Strategic, and Reputational risk assessments and analytics. Additionally, she has been instrumental in advancing thought leadership on emerging risk measurement techniques and strategies that enhance bottom-line performance.

Connor has received numerous accolades for her work in the risk management field. She was named one of Business Insurance magazine’s Global “Women to Watch” in Risk Management, and in 2009, she was recognized in Treasury & Risk magazine’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list.

She is a published author and has been a keynote speaker at prominent conferences, including the American Banking Association ERM Conference in 2020 and the Great Auditors Minds Conference in 2022. Additionally, she is a member of the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) from the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA), and holds professional designations in the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Risk Institute, and Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) from the Risk Management Society (RIMS). She is also a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).
