The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Daood, president of LodgeWorks, to its Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board.
鈥淚鈥檓 very excited to join a distinguished group of the Barton School鈥檚 Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board members and serve alongside some of the brightest and most strategic minds out there,鈥 said Daood.
As LodgeWorks president, Daood spearheads all development efforts and oversees all of the company鈥檚 corporate and field administration. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Development and was responsible for site selection, market and economic feasibility analyses and permitting for various projects throughout the U.S. In his previous role as Vice President of Operations for LodgeWorks鈥 Northeast Region, he managed property revenue and operations, hotel team development, and new hotel openings in the northeast region. Prior to his time at LodgeWorks, Daood served as General Manager with Summerfield Hotel Corporation. He opened two Summerfield Suites Hotels and held a dual GM role between 1996 and 2000. Before joining Summerfield, he trained and worked with the Bristol Hotel Company in Texas and Mississippi holding positions in Accounting and Rooms Division Management. He is a graduate of Cornell University, with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in hotel administration.

LodgeWorks is a privately held hotel management and development company with a rich history as a hospitality brand innovator. Its portfolio consists of Archer Hotels, a proprietary boutique collection, and management of national brands including Aloft Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt House and Hyatt Place.

The Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board, which consists of 50 diverse industry leaders from around the world, works to advance the mission and strategic priorities of the Barton School through strengthening, enriching and enhancing the student experience.
