What degree did you earn?

I am earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management.

What led you to 成人头条 State to begin?

When I entered my senior year of high school, there were multiple colleges that I was considering. I knew that I wanted to pursue something in the business field. 成人头条 State did an incredible job of making me feel like I was already a part of the Shocker nation during each of our first conversations. I also loved that I didn't feel too far away from my hometown while still being a good physical distance from it.

How are you feeling leading up to graduation?

I am full of emotions leading up to graduation. While I am sad to leave my friends and the organizations on campus, I am so excited to see what the next steps in my career journey may bring. It is never "goodbye" though, only "see you later."

What has been your most helpful learning experience while a student at 成人头条 State?

Participating in the Professional Edge Program and serving as the President of the Barton School Dean's Ambassadors have been two of my most helpful and fulfilling experiences at 成人头条 State.

What are your plans after graduation?

I have recently accepted a full-time position with Goldman Sachs as a human capital management analyst. After graduation in May, I will be relocating to Dallas, Texas, to continue my goal of helping people create value for themselves and those around them.

How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected your time at 成人头条 State or your post-graduation plans?

In March of 2020, COVID-19 caused an abrupt halt to nearly all of my activities, in-person classes, and work. Rather than moving to Dallas in May for a summer internship with Goldman Sachs, I completed the internship virtually from home. However, my mother was so happy to have me back at the house for a few months of mother-daughter bonding. Overall, students were extremely flexible when it came to finding ways to remain involved and productive in student organizations, especially the Ambassadors for Diversity and Inclusion.

What advice would you give other 成人头条 State students?

Utilize your network, organizations and extracurricular activities to obtain an internship, or to build a foundation which will set you up for success in the years to follow. Be fully present in any room, meeting, table, conversation or virtual chat that you may be in. Remember that the first step to getting any position is to have the confidence and patience to apply. Always show passion and be compassionate.
