Kennedy Stamm was led to ͷ State because she liked the ͷ School District. Now, she will start her teaching job in August after receiving a degree in elementary education.

I am receiving a Bachelors in elementary education

My hometown is Valley Center, Kansas
What led you to ͷ State?
It is close to home, and I love the city of ͷ and I love the ͷ School District.
How are you feeling leading up to graduation?
I am excited and ready to start the next journey of life.
What has been your most helpful learning experience while a student at ͷ State?
I have learned to always be flexible and to always live in the moment.
What has been your biggest challenge as a student, and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been COVID-19 and I have learned to just take each day as a time.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be working as a para-professional in the ͷ Public Schools District and then getting a teaching job in August.
How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected your time at ͷ State or your post-graduation plans?
I don’t feel it has changed much other than having way more online classes finishing my time at ͷ State.
What advice would you give other ͷ State students?
My advice is to get out of your comfort zone and try new things and experience new things. Always stay open minded.
