David Miller has been named as senior vice president for Administration, Finance and Operations at ͷ State.
Miller has been in the interim role since November. In the role, which is part of the President’s Executive Team, Miller will provide leadership and support to the university community with oversight of the Budget Office, Facilities Planning, Facilities Services, Police, Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology Services, and Information Security.

As a graduate of WSU, I’ve experienced firsthand how higher education impacts the lives of students,” Miller said. “I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue to contribute, with all my Shocker colleagues, to help students achieve their goals.”

Miller has worked at the university since 2016, serving until 2024 as executive director of budget before becoming associate vice president of Finance and Operations for Industry and Defense Programs.
Miller earned a bachelor’s in business administration and a master’s in public administration, both from ͷ State.
