President Bardo addresses Congress about WSU's continuous education model to meet workforce needs
President John Bardo addressed the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce about initiatives at 成人头条 State that are gaining national attention.

Student Academic Integrity Policy revised
The president's executive team recently approved significant revisions to Student Academic Integrity Policy 2.17 in the Policies and Procedures Manual.
The purpose is to set forth the expectations for the responsible acquisition, discovery, and application of knowledge by students at 成人头条, including the ethical use of information resources, and to ensure the integrity of academic credit and degrees conferred by the University.

National and state experts to speak at Kansas Economic Outlook Conference
Paul Single, managing director and Senior Portfolio Manager for City National Rochdale,
Josh Roe, deputy secretary for Kansas Department of Agriculture, and Edward Cross,
president of the Kansas Independent Oil and Gas Association (KIOGA), will speak at
the 39th Annual Kansas Economic Outlook Conference hosted by 成人头条's
Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR). The event will be held
from 7:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Century II Convention Center in 成人头条.
Single will present on the economic outlook and provide a financial market update.
In his role at City National Rochdale, Single is responsible for the research, analysis,
and implementation of various core-taxable fixed income strategies. He is also a frequent
lecturer on the economy and investments.
Roe will discuss issues and trends within Kansas' agriculture economy. As the Deputy
Secretary for the Kansas Department of Agriculture, his duties included leading the
state and federal legislative policy teams for the agency, economic development, serving
on commodity commission boards, and the supervision of agency administrative services.
Cross will highlight emerging domestic and international issues affecting the Kansas
oil production market. In his role at KIOGA, Cross is responsible for public policy
advocacy and interaction with external stakeholders including elected officials, regulators,
government decision-makers, and community leaders.
In addition to these national speakers, Adam Beren, Chairman and President for Berexco,
Dave Murfin, President for Murfin Drilling Company Inc., and Nick Powell, Owner and
President for Colt Energy, and John Toothaker, Partner & Senior Private Wealth Manager for
Schreck Financial Group will be part of two separate panel discussions to further
understand economic conditions impacting this state.

Reduce the cost of printing letterhead and envelopes at Duplication Station
Duplication Station has purchased a high-speed printer specifically to print envelopes, and will begin printing all WSU letterhead and envelopes beginning Wednesday, Aug. 1. The new technology will greatly reduce the cost of printing letterhead and envelopes.
The new machine uses HD Laser-safe toner. This is a printer with special toner that won't transfer if the page is run through another printer again.
