Support for instructors new to the online / remote class format
To support instructors during this time of transition from in-person classes to online / remote delivery, Instructional Design and Access has created 10 set of tasks to help instructors new to online learning to be successful. Each day we will post one "Task Set" for instructors to work through.

Campus Recreation's COVID-19 changes and adjustments
The Heskett Center is currently closed because of the COVID-19 outbreak. As a result, all Shocker Fit classes have been canceled, as well as upcoming Intramural Sport events, leagues, or tournaments.

The Marketing and Branding Study is charged with actively engaging members of our campus community to examine how effectively we are branding and marketing our institution and provide recommendations.
The Student and Community Experience Survey seeks to engage students, campus community and the greater 成人头条 community to examine how effectively we are creating a positive "Shocker" experience for events and programs at 成人头条 State.

Managers of USS and non-teaching UP employees: It鈥檚 goal planning time!
myPerformance evaluations for USS and Non-Teaching UP employees are available for 2020-21 goal planning. Managers should add expectations, competencies, and goals for the 2020-21 review period, then meet with their employees to review. Don鈥檛 forget to provide them a hard copy of their evaluation for reference throughout the year! Goal planning should be completed by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 31.

* Your direct reports will not be able to access their 2020-21 myPerformance evaluation until the Employee Self-Evaluation step beginning Jan. 16, 2021, which is why you should provide a hard copy of their 2020-21 review and review it with them.
* Managers have access to update and edit their direct reports myPerformance evaluations as many times as they would like until Employee Self-Evaluation time beginning Jan. 16, 2021!
* Save then SUBMIT! Make sure to SUBMIT after saving every time you update a myPerformance evaluation! Your direct reports will not be able to see the information and you will still have access to their evaluation until Jan. 16, 2021, even after selecting SUBMIT.
* Need a copy of a past performance evaluation? Check the box that says, 鈥淪how completed and expired tasks鈥, then 鈥淪earch鈥! Save it as a PDF or print as needed.
* Do you or your employees need help with Goal Planning? Register through myTraining for 鈥淲here Are You Going? Goal Setting for Personal and Professional Success.鈥 This free workshop is facilitated by ComPsych/Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and qualified employees will receive a HeathQuest point for completing the session. Seating is limited, registration is required.
Call for Service-Learning Faculty Scholars for 2020-21
The Service-Learning Faculty Scholars program has been designed to empower committed service-learning faculty to cultivate and support interest in service-learning in their fellow faculty members and through their classes and college. Our goal is to infuse the campus and community with a spirit of service-based academic engagement that ties the classroom experience to applied learning and experiential knowledge. The goal of the Faculty Scholars program is to involve faculty in the advancement of the service-learning pedagogy among fellow faculty. The Shocker New Venture Competition gives students the opportunity to win venture money as well as receive valuable feedback on their idea from industry experts. Do you know an involved student leader with a passion for sharing their Shocker experience? Consider nominating them to serve as a Student Involvement (SI) Ambassador. SI Ambassadors connect current and prospective students with opportunities to enhance their Shocker experience. SI Ambassadors share their involvement stories at campus recruitment events, promote organizations and programs to current students and recognize the contributions of new and established student organizations.

The Longest Day Dodgeball Tournament; an event to fight Alzheimer's
Campus Recreation and the Alzheimer's Association are putting on a Dodgeball Tournament at 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, in the Heskett Center, in honor of The Longest Day, a day dedicated to the cause of fighting Alzheimer's.
Participation is open to everyone with a participation fee of $5 per person. Put together a team of 6-8 people and throw down!
2nd Annual Cops for Shocks Food Drive now to March 31
The WSUPD challenges departments all across campus as we did last year to help stock the Shocker Support Locker.
Donations are accepted at the Police Department lobby from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will be glad to pick up and deliver for you, or give your donation to any WSUPD officer until March 31.
Donate shelf stable pantry items, baby food and diapers, hygiene products and bottled water.
Avoid canned green beans, corn, high sugar foods and food past the expiration date.
