What made you decide to study Sport Management at WSU?
I chose WSU because of the opportunities I had to learn within the athletic department
during my internship. I was also offered a graduate assistantship in compliance.
Tell us about any Internships you have done or are currently doing? What do you hope
to learn from your internship experience?
I worked as an intern and now as a graduate assistant in the WSU athletic department
in compliance. During my undergrad internship, I learned I really enjoyed working
in compliance and wanted to pursue my knowledge deeper.
What are your career goals?
To work in a division one athletic department in compliance or as a academic coordinator.
What has been your favorite course that you have taken during your time in Sport Management?
Any class that I have taken with Dr. Noble!
If a friend asked about your time in the program, what would you tell them?
That I have made great connections and the internship opportunities are across various
departments.
What has been your favorite part of the program?
Definitely my internship and the people I have met through that opportunity as well
as the friends I have made in the program.
What do you plan to do after you finish the program?
Work in college athletics
What have you learned in this program that you plan on taking with you once you graduate?
It is not what you know, it is who you know. It is dedication and persistence that
also help open doors.
