Bachelor of Business Administration Degree

Degree Requirements include:

  1. Foundation Skills and General Education Requirements (12 hours)
  2. Advanced Standing Requirements
  3. Business Core Requirements
  4.  Major Requirements (see major page for details)
  5. GPA minimum (see below)
  6. Credit hours minimums (see below)
  7. Minor Requirements (if applicable)

Refer to your Degree Works audit for the following requirements:

Have a minimum overall and 成人头条 institutional GPA of 2.25

Complete at least 50% of upper-division business credit hours at WSU

Complete a minimum of 120 credit hours for a first degree or 154 credit hours for a second degree

Complete a minimum of 60 credit hours at a four-year institution

Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at WSU

Complete 24 of the last 30 credits hours at WSU

Complete a minimum of 45 credit hours in upper-division courses (300-level or above, excluding BADM 301)

Only 录 of total credit hours can be grades of D


Foundation Course Requirements for Business Majors:

These courses must be completed in your first 48 credit hours of enrollment with a grade of C- or better.

  • ENGL 101 or 100 - College English 1 -or- English Comp. (for non-native speakers) (3)
  • ENGL 102 - College English II (3)
  • COMM 111 - Public Speaking (3)
  • MATH 111 or 112 - College Algebra or Pre-Calculus (3-5)

Transfer students who complete Business Calculus or Calculus with a grade of C- or better do not need to take College Algebra (MATH 111) or Pre-Calculus (MATH 112).

International students who are eligible to take the English Composition Validation Exam (EEE) must complete their EEE in their first semester at 成人头条. For more information, contact (316) 978-6229.


General Education Requirements for Business Students:

The general education program seeks to provide each student with a body of knowledge that is both a broad foundation for his or her major field of study, and also the beginning of what is necessary to become a genuinely educated person. The general education program provides the opportunity for all students to grow in knowledge and appreciation of the rich variety of human achievements in the arts, humanities, and sciences. General Education Introductory Courses:

  • One Introductory Course in Fine Arts (3)
  • One Introductory Course in Humanities (3)
  • One Introductory Course in Math/Natural Science is fullfilled by Math 144 (3)
  • One 300 level or above Gen Ed (not Social Behavioral Science) (3)

Business Majors are required to take the following as part of their general education program.

  • MATH 144
  • ECON 201 
  • IB 333

  • MATH 144 or 242 - Business Calculus or Calculus I (3) - fulfills a General Education requirement
  • ECON 231 - Introductory Business Statistics (3)
  • ECON 232 - Statistical Software Applications for Business (1)
  • ECON 201 - Principles of Macroeconomics (3) - see note below
  • ECON 202 - Principles of Microeconomics (3) - see note below
  • BADM 162 - Business Software - Excel (minimum grade of C- for most majors) (1)
  • ACCT 210 - Financial Accounting (3)
  • ACCT 220 - Managerial Accounting (3)

NOTE: ECON 201 & 202 may be used to meet general education requirements.
