Maria Akrabova, Rose Estill, Melissa Goldstein, Mike McGlynn, Mireya Serna, and Kerry Wilks rated 35 samples of MCLL majors with a specialization in Spanish, and Marat Sanatullov and Wilson Baldridge rated 14 samples in the French specialization. Alejandra Bonifacino (Spanish) and Dr. Brigitte Roussel (French) gave OPIs to students in Spanish 525, a capstone course, and French 505, a the course rated in lieu of the capstone course. Rose Estill, Marat Sanatullov, and Yumi Foster served on the PreK-12 Foreign Language Program Committee, which is chaired by Dr. Sanatullov, and includes two professors from the College of Education. The MCLL Assessment and Curriculum Committee met 11 September 2007 to discuss various topics, including dividing assessment assignments several courses rather than having them all in SPAN 526 and FREN 526.
