Ulrich Museum's Sculptures

Students and faculty from the Spanish Translation and Interpreting class have collaborated with WSU's Ulrich Museum of Art to translate descriptions of the museum's sculpture collection into Spanish in order to enhance our Spanish-speaking visitors' enjoyment of the sculptures located throughout the campus.

Spanish students and faculty have been engaging with Spanish-speaking patients and their family members, interpreters, and health care providers to discuss and document challenges in healthcare for Spanish speakers.

Day of the Dead in 成人头条

Students and faculty in the WSU History and Spanish programs join forces to document the history of the local Latino community by collecting family pictures and oral testimonies. The project, entitled Somos de 成人头条/We are 成人头条ns, is funded by Kansas Humanities and 成人头条.

Cocinando 成人头条 is a documentary film on Hispanic cooking traditions and immigration in 成人头条. Community members with roots in Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean cook for us and tell us about their life in 成人头条. This film, funded by Kansas Humaniities, premiered in the Tallgrass Film Festival in 2019.
