Attention First-Year Students - Honors Colloquium Reminder!

First-Year Honors College students please be sure you are checking your Shocker email account. This week you were sent important emails from Blackboard and PebblePad about setting up your PebblePad account and preparing for our first Honors Colloquium class session. We will continue to send you information for Honors Colloquium throughout the semester. Check those emails often as this is the official method of communication for all things Honors Colloquium! Questions? please email honors@wichita.edu

Volunteer and Earn Money for a Student Organization: Prairie Fire Marathon

The Prairie Fire Marathon planning committee is looking for civic organizations/groups to volunteer for various assignments like water stations on the route. The cool thing about this opportunity is they pay the organizations $10 a volunteer for helping. Are you a member of a student group looking for extra funds for conferences or food for meetings? Email your name and the organization name to Dr. Engber Kimberly.engber@wichita.edu, and she鈥檒l connect you to this opportunity that was sent to us by an Honors alum!

Honors Option Agreement

You can turn almost any course into an Honors course. The Honors Option Agreement form is a way for students to continue fulfilling designated Honors requirements. There is still time to have a conversation with a faculty member in a course you would like to use in your Honors coursework. Please click on the link below to learn more. For further questions, please schedule an Honors advising appointment. Honors Option Agreement forms are due September 8th.
