Curriculum
Licensure Track: The MEd in educational leadership is a two-year degree program consisting of 33 credit
hours 鈥 including extensive practicum experience in area schools. Students who complete
this program and pass the School Leaders Licensure Assessment are eligible for Building
Leadership endorsement from the Kansas Department of Education.
Non-Licensure Track: This track of the MEd in educational leadership is a two-year degree program consisting
of 30 credit hours including applied learning and elective opportunities and is designed
for students desiring to build knowledge, skills, dispositions, and competencies as
leaders in education, but who are not pursuing endorsement or licensure as a P-12
school administrator. This track meets the needs of international students, professional
trainers and developers, educational programs in the public sectors of government,
military and industry, consultants, advocates, and other private and / or non-profit
organizations.
