Undergraduate CertificateHuman Anatomy

An undergraduate certificate in human anatomy provides a comprehensive education in human anatomy, progressing from foundational knowledge to clinical-level expertise. Courses are taught in the College of Health Professions鈥 state-of-the-art Gross Anatomy and Human Simulation laboratories. Students will engage with high-tech simulation technology, anatomical models and real human cadavers, which are vital tools for deepening their understanding of human anatomy.

Curriculum

This certificate consists of three required courses: Foundational Human Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Neuroscience and Advanced Clinical Anatomy. An overall grade point average of at least 2.000 for all courses comprising the certificate program, and no grade below C, is required to earn the certificate.

How to enroll

To add this certificate to your plan of study:

  • Log into the myWSU portal, find the Student Tools box (center of the page) and click on "Change my Major/Minor."
  • Click continue (this will show your current major and minor).
  • Click continue, then click "Add a certificate" and choose your certificate program. Click continue and submit request.
