As a student at Arizona State, he attended WSU鈥檚 last-ever football game, played Nov. 15, 1986 in Tempe, Arizona. The Shockers lost 52-6.

He was recognized as #23 on a list of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics; Dr. Golden was inducted into both Phi Kappa Phi (Honors Society) and Sigma Xi (Scientific Research Honors Society).

He says Sundays will be 鈥渟tudent days鈥� at the President鈥檚 house, when he and his wife, Dina, invite groups of students over for a meal.

He wants all prospective students and parents to get WSU items to put on their vehicles to show 鈥淪hocker Pride.鈥�

He has extensively researched WSU and 成人头条; he compiled a data book and a list of who he wants to meet in his 100 days on the job.

He has had more than 40 business and government consulting assignments for clients as varied as Walmart, Under Armour, the United Nations, John Deere, the State of California and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

He has authored more than 150 publications, including one that has been downloaded more than 100,000 times. It鈥檚 an economic impact analysis of the benefits of U.S. biobased products industry.
