Quotes:
I chose the Barton School of Business because the second I got on campus for the first time I felt at home, all the students and facualty I met were welcoming and nice. The campus is always kept in great shape and looks amazing. At that time the Barton School of Businesses new home Woolsey Hall was almost complete which was a huge draw for me as well as the extensive plans the unversity had for the innovation campus so I could work along side world wide companies on campus. Finally the diverse student organziations I could join was very nice as well.
Being awarded as a Barton School of Business 25 Under 25 student is a tremendous honor and recognition of the hard work, dedication, and growth I've experienced during my time at WSU. It represents not only a personal achievement but also a reflection of the incredible support and guidance I鈥檝e received from mentors, faculty, and peers. This award motivates me to continue striving for excellence, giving back to the Barton School community, and contributing meaningfully to the fields of business and innovation. It鈥檚 an inspiring milestone that encourages me to keep pushing my limits and pursuing my goals with passion.
My advice to high school seniors about to start college is to take full advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Your 20s are the perfect time to explore as many areas of life as possible鈥攖his is how you'll discover what you鈥檙e truly passionate about. Make it a priority to network and connect with a wide range of people; the relationships you build now can become one of the most valuable aspects of your college experience. Dive in, stay curious, and don鈥檛 be afraid to step outside your comfort zone.
I鈥檝e been fortunate to have numerous mentors who have helped shape my skills and understanding of the future workforce. At 成人头条 State, Brian Austin from the Shocker Career Accelerator has been an incredible mentor, guiding me in landing my job at GoCreate and my internship with Deloitte while helping me grow both personally and professionally. Recently, Hunter Mitchem at SweatHouz has provided valuable insights into the strategic business decisions involved in launching a new franchise location. Jacob O鈥機onnor, a recent graduate, is both a friend and mentor; we support each other with new business ideas and advice. Mel Whiteside from the Barton School of Business has also been instrumental in helping me network within the 成人头条 community. Jeff Jamison at IMA is always there for any personal or professional help I am need of. I am immensely grateful to all the advisors, professors, and friends within the Barton School and the local community who have supported me throughout my journey at WSU. There are so many more people who have played a pivotal role in the person I am today.
