Overview

Jerica is an integral part of BKD鈥檚 Talent Acquisition team that expands across the firm鈥檚 national footprint. As a Campus Recruiter, she is experienced in implementing BKD鈥檚 national recruiting strategy and has expertise in developing innovative ideas to attract new talent from targeted schools in the Kansas regions, and forging deep relationships to retain that talent once onboarded at BKD.  

Originally, Jerica joined BKD as a Tax Associate where she worked for two years assisting corporate and individual clients with state and federal tax compliance.  Jerica鈥檚 experience on the professional tax side has assisted her in understanding the present and future recruiting needs of BKD and developing strategies to attract individuals who best fit BKD鈥檚 culture and work ethic.  Recently, Jerica has taken on national responsibilities as BKD鈥檚 Diversity Campus Ambassador where she engages with universities across the country to expand and intentionally diversify the firm鈥檚 candidate pipeline. 

Within BKD, Jerica serves as the chair of the BKD 成人头条 Employee Engagement Council which is responsible for gathering, evaluating and developing programs to promote employee engagement and performance excellence in all areas of the firm.   She is also active in the 成人头条 community volunteering and serving as the 2021 Chair of W, the largest young professionals鈥� organization in the state of Kansas, serves on 成人头条 Regional Chamber of Commerce Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Taskforce, and has also volunteered time to help organize the Down Syndrome Society of 成人头条 two largest fundraisers. 

Jerica is a graduate of 成人头条 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Accounting.
